AiA has been a regular member of these forums for years and he is an Australian. Annielaurie is not an active member and according to Monk is critically ill. She is an American who has had very little to do with this board, apart from driving a bulldozer through it, but the thought of being called Captain or Boss is just all too tempting isn't it Aussie?

Both IQS and Mantra would put the effort in and I don't believe either would abuse their positions of power/trust, this and would need to work together to strike balance.

Thanks Mel - that's nice, but absolutely impossible. IQ and myself would be down at the bottom of Aussie's list. My gut feeling is that the moderator was chosen a while ago and this exercise in the members having a choice is utter bulldust.

I'm going to place a bet, agree with you and say the mods have already been chosen, and that Lisa and Monk are lined up for the task.

Their objective now is to allude to the appointment of such being a democratic process, in order to gain our approval.

I find the whole election process insulting, when it's clear, there really wasn't one to begin with.

Lisa Jones and Annie have almost identical personalities, aside from the fact that Lisa Jones is "allegedly" decades younger. It's too late - Aussie will only gain Monk's approval, maybe Auzgirl's and Rainbows - and that's about it.
