And again, you have this >>>> wrong. I have not promised Monk any job.
Mantra, please, stop with this crazy lying stuff. You are having a shocker!!

Any voter who does not intend to post here in the future shoud withdraw their vote.
If the person who wins lets banned members like IQ back in, I'll be leaving. But for now, I'm hoping not. People like IQ helped partially destroy this forum.
On that basis I have removed my AiA preference.
Freediver, any chance of having an update before the poll closes?

My suggestions were 1000x better than “if everybody stops whining this board [would grow/prosper/reach utopia.]”

Mantra,
Monk has a temper. I am not sure whether or not he said that about hebe- but if he did I think it is reprehensible. However look how clean his forum is compared to this one. Look what allowing IQ to post filth here did to this forum.
I am glad Aussie is going to take action to get rid of the c word again. It is demeaning to women. Fluffy bunny will be just fine.
If you want to use the c word, you could go post at Monk's forum. I see it is used there from time to time.
However, I completely understand why he doesn't like you attacking annie. She is sick, she is vulnerable, and she is a very decent person, and does not deserve it.

Re: Position of Moderator
It is easy for people to attack each other over the internet, and this forum has become even more of an attack ground and with little control compared to in the past. I suspect Mantra was just acting in a way that she believed was a part of the culture of the board- and it kind of is. People don't really know each other on the internet unless they take a lot of time and build up trust, so it is easy for people to make mistakes, misjudge others, and fire away inaccurately. Now she knows a little more about you, perhaps she will be more sensitive. Of course, it is always a hard balancing act to know how much personal information to give away on the net, and there is a danger in doing so sometimes, as some people just use the net to get vitriol out of their system i think. I don't really think Mantra is like that. She makes lots of reasoned posts.

I did not attack Annie. I made a couple of comments as to why Aussie shouldn't be administrator here. Her name wasn't mentioned, but Monk drew attention to her by his crass & vile posts. There is nothing that I said that was so offensive that Annie couldn't have responded herself.
I did say I didn't know whether she was a sock - and I still don't know. Is it OK for Aussie to constantly say Super Nova is AiA's sock - if so, then why should I not be allowed to have doubts about Annie? There are a lot of sick people who post on these forums and they don't talk about it because they don't want special treatment, why do exceptions have to be made for Annie?
Why should I tiptoe around her? Was this the spirit of the old PA as Aussie knew it? Was everyone forced to be polite to each other even though they didn't want to be? We should be allowed to be honest without being told to shut up.
I put up with abuse and rarely respond in kind. Allow me to have my say please.
