Can you fault Annie’s skill with the Mod Control Panel? Aussie lived up to his own undertaking to appoint a newby. As to Annie being an outsider, bullshit! She reads here frequently—on those criteria you would have objected to Auzgurl being appointed because Ag hasn’t been here much lately. A mod’s job has nothing to do with politics and stuff like that, it is about removing spambot posts and housekeeping like that and Annie will be a whizz at it.

stay-go-stay-go.... see, i'm relatively new to this site.. compared to most of you here, so I have not had the benefit of hindsight, this and can really only go by what little I can make of those I don't recall from Ozpolitic.



One things for certain, it's become apparent the better posters aren't impressed with the current arrangement, and I am not impressed with the weird/bad vibe ... so as long as it's like this, I wont be in the mood for a chat. I just want a majority who are in fact regulars to be happy, they have put time into this forum helped build it up....so to nominate a mod who only calls around occasionally...around election time is a bit rough, basically what you are saying Aussey is you prefer occasional dregs, visitors, blow-ins, to those who really have put the effort in.

Whether you rigged it or not, (yeah, you probably did going by the general consensus) really isn't the issue right now... ultimately it's rather inhospitable and rude of you to discard those who frequented this site regularly, and have done so for years, this and have really put the effort in.

Look Monk... it's no skin off my nose, I'm trying to assist you with understanding why long term members might feel a bit put-out by Aussies actions, and re- moderating this site......oh please, a 4 year old could moderate this forum... kids school calculators are more complex than this sites administration these days, (I still cant figure out how to turn my sons calculator off...)...and I'm quite certain everyone here is more than capable of building their own forum, so would not find it difficult moderating a basic phpbb dashboard. For Christs sake... would you like to see a real dashboard, one with all the bells and whistles?
