Medical trials

Post by mellie » Tue Dec 10, 2024 5:48 pm

I'd like to volunteer myself for a few possible drugs I'd like to try.
Ivermectin is of most interest to me, due to my RA.

I believe that this medication could work as effectively or even more effectively than my current medication load, however our pharmaceutical Gods would prefer both my government and myself pays much much more for my biologics.

Ivermectin is cheap.

Any ideas?

Researchers at the University of Queensland will receive $11.54 million to further groundbreaking research into resetting the immune system in patients with rheumatoid arthritis to eliminate the need for lifelong immunotherapy.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an incurable and chronic condition affecting 450,000 Australians that causes pain, disability and early death. It occurs when the body mistakes its own joint proteins as foreign and attacks them, making those joints swollen, stiff and painful.

The Reset Rheumatoid Arthritis project unites experts in immunotherapy, clinical trials, clinical practice and consumers to progress groundbreaking research and technology.

In Australia, there are two key places you can contact to learn more about the clinical trials looking into arthritis, and all other health conditions.

Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry (ANZCTR) The ANZCTR is an online registry of clinical trials being undertaken in Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere. The ANZTCR's search function allows you to search and find clinical trials involving arthritis. Once you find a relevant trial, you will be able to contact the person listed as the 'public contact' of the trial for more information.

Australian Clinical Trials Australian Clinical Trials is run by the National Health and Medical Research Council and the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science to provide information and resources about clinical trials and how you can get involved.
Thanks tllwd, very interesting.

My grandaughter attends the immunotherapy clinic at the Royal Children's in Melbourne. She looks like she's developing an AI disease too.
My eldest daughter has an AI disease too.

We are both on biologics injections, and I'm also taking methotrexate as a weekly injection too.

So far so good, the inflammation has definitely improved, but the lethargy seems to be clinging on, especially on chemo days.

Fortunately, no sign's whatsoever for my eldest and youngest children, they never get sick, only mild asthma and allergies.

I was a sickly child, so was my eldest daughter and my grandaughter is always unwell too.

The irony of our current PMs first hand experience in watching his own mother struggle and die with RA, yet his investment of merely 11 mil doesn't even come close to what this government has spent on dividing our nation. The failed referendum seems to be a turd Albo wants to kick into a dark corner this election.

Jeez, I wonder why. :c

Let's not let Australians forget this gross waste of money.
