Medical Doctors Declare That The Pandemic Was Planned.

A group of over 500 medical doctors in Germany called ‘Doctors for Information’ made a shocking statement during a national press conference: (1)

‘The Corona panic is a play. It’s a scam. A swindle. It’s high time we understood that we’re in the midst of a global crime.’

In 2015 a ‘System and Method for Testing for COVID-19′ was patented by Richard Rothschild, with a Dutch government organisation.

Did you catch that? In 2015 – four years before the disease even existed – a testing method for COVID-19 was developed.

As we know the new COVID-19 disease appeared in China towards the end of 2019. Therefore it was named COVID-19 which is an acronym for Corona Virus Disease 2019.

Data from the World Integrated Trade Solution, however, shows something astonishing:

“in 2017 and 2018 – two years before COVID-19 – hundreds of millions of test kits for COVID-19 were distributed worldwide.”

Short answer....yes...
As Ive always said...believe what you want to believe...
Personally, I would prefer to be skeptical rather than dumbed down and gullible...
When we read articles of this nature we should not simply dismiss them.
They are cause for concern and suspicion.
I think there is much information which the general public simply hasnt got the time
to analyse and critique...most people just want to watch the footy and drink piss....
I found it intriguing that SloMo gagged Craig Kelly...
I would imagine Kelly may run as an Independent at the next election.
That deletes SloMo's one seat majority...

The false claim that a testing method for COVID-19 was patented by Richard Rothschild in 2015 and 2017 has been shared online. The patent for a system that analyses biometric data to determine whether the user is suffering from COVID-19 was not applied for until May 17, 2020.

The allegation is the subject of an article, which can be seen (here) .

The website points to a Dutch website that shows a patent for a “System and Method for Testing for COVID-19" (here) .

The patent is numbered ‘US20200279585A1’ and has a “Prioriteitsdatum” (Dutch for “priority date”) of “2015-10-13”.

The article claims that the 2015 priority date is evidence that the coronavirus pandemic has been planned.

But the author has conflated the terms “priority date” and “application date”.

The priority date can refer to the earliest filing date in a family of related patent applications, or to the earliest filing date of a particular feature of an invention (here) .

In this case, Oct. 13, 2015 is when Rothschild first made a provisional application within this family of patents.

A series of regular, non-provisional patent applications were subsequently made for a “System and Method For Using, Processing, and Displaying Biometric Data” (here) .

These earlier patents are essentially the predecessors to ‘US20200279585A1’ - and as such share similar features, such as the use of biometric data (here) .

However, the patent for a system that analyses biometric data to determine whether the user is suffering from COVID-19 was not applied for until May 17, 2020 (here)

The article also claims to provide evidence of a patent for COVID-19 testing being filed for in 2017.

It references the patent for a “System and Method for Using, Biometric, and Displaying Biometric Data” and its filing date of April 24, 2017 (here) .

As already discussed, although this patent is indeed a predecessor to ‘US20200279585A1’, it does not mention COVID-19 in any form.

VERDICT
False. The year 2015 was when Rothschild first filed a provisional application within the family of patents. The year 2017 is the filing date of a related, but separate patent within the family.

A search on Espacenet, a platform for searching patents and applications developed by the European Patent Office, shows the application for a “System and Method for Testing for COVID-19” was listed here.

The site shows that the filing is a "continuation in part" (CIP) application for a US patent, i.e. a partial continuation of an existing application. The CIP principle allows an inventor to link a new patent with an older license, as long as the old invention contributed to the development of the new one.

Rothschild's patent, which is for a method of “acquiring and transmitting biometric data,” was first filed in 2013, as noted in the screenshot shared in the misleading Facebook posts.

The CIP application was later submitted in May 2020 because the method can be used to “determine whether the user is suffering from a viral infection, such as COVID-19,” as noted in the patent's abstract.

Rainer Osterwalder, a European Patent Office spokesperson, also said the “the patent application had no reference to COVID-19 before 2020."

Facebook posts promote false conspiracy that coronavirus testing patent was submitted in 2015

Multiple Facebook posts shared hundreds of times claim that a person named Richard A. Rothschild filed a patent for novel coronavirus tests in 2015. The claim is false; the image shows a supplemental application that was filed in 2020 following the submission of another patent application in 2015 that was not related to the coronavirus; a spokesperson for the financial services firm Rothschild & Co. said the patent’s applicant had no link to the company.
The claim was published on Facebook here by an Australia-based user on October 7, 2020.

The post features a screenshot of a United States patent application for a “SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TESTING COVID-19” filed by an applicant named as “Richard A. Rothschild.”

The application is dated May 17, 2020. A subsection of the document states that a “provisional application” was filed on October 13, 2015.

The post’s caption reads: “All the obedient sheeple should check the dates! Youve all been scammed!”
