Australians have condemned a government commercial which shows a young woman in hospital desperately trying to breathe as a warning to get vaccinated,
with many pointing out that
those in her age group cannot yet book a jab.

The graphic ad, which is set to run in Sydney – the largest city in Australia, and the one hit hardest by Covid – shows the woman panting with tears in her eyes as she is hooked up to a respirator in hospital. “Covid-19 can affect anyone. Stay home. Get tested. Book your vaccination,” the ad concludes.

Many Australians were quick to criticize what they deemed to be an inappropriate government ad, given Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s failure to secure enough Covid-19 vaccines for the entire population, and recent coronavirus blunders.

“Completely offensive to run an ad like this when Australians in this age group are still waiting for their bloody vaccinations,” protested 10 News First’s National Affairs Editor Hugh Riminton, while Guardian Australia’s Associate News Editor Josephine Tovey called the ad an “insult.”

I am waiting for the critics to come out and ask why a young woman was "featured"
in the ad....why not a young man...
Is it because the government feels that the "featuring" of a young woman may
"influence" more women to get the jab....
OR is it because the government feels that young men are "unimportant"
and less impressionable...
The ad should be pulled....
After the decent debacles in parliament on the subject of sexual
harassment and the supposed need for equal female representation
in parliament, the gender of the person "featured" in the ad is I feel
controversial to say the least..
No-one would have said boo if the person "featured" in the ad was an elderly man..
Maybe they should have had her in a burka....or with an LGBTQI flag somewhere...
Im sure that would have raised eyebrows...

It's in bad taste when people of her age are not entitled to a vax as
ScoMo fucked up the procurement.

Apparently according to the SMH the ad was filmed last year but Scumo shelved
it because the outbreaks had not been severe enough to use it...
This reeks of the need to create hysteria amongst the punters to go and
get the jab...
There was no jab available last year...covid was seemingly under control, yet
the ad was still "created" and pigeon holed for later use...
The entire country is being played....
Meanwhile a WHO official in India could face the death penalty as she
advocated non use of IVERMECTIN in India...
Meanwhile Pfizer is trialling a anti virile jab which includes Ivermectin...
Of course, it will be patented, so more money for big pharma...
The money just keeps on rolling in... :rofl

New South Wales has recorded 112 new local COVID-19 cases with at least 34 in the community while infectious.

The state also recorded four overseas acquired cases on Monday, from more than 46,000 tests.

There are 63 COVID-19 patients currently in hospital, with 18 people in intensive care and four on ventilators.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said “the vast majority" of new cases were family members or "very, very close contacts” of known cases.

“I want to stress again, as we did yesterday, if you put yourself at risk, you're putting your entire family, and that means extended family, as well as your closest friends and associates, at risk,” she told reporters on Monday.

The premier said the number of people infectious in the community needed to be “as close to zero as possible” before the lockdown, which has now entered its third week, can end.

The outbreak remain concentrated in the local government areas of Fairfield, Canterbury Bankstown and Liverpool.

NSW Health late on Sunday advised of multiple new exposure sites in Fairfield and Fairfield Heights, including a number of medical centres and pharmacies. A Kogarah fish shop is also in the spotlight. People who have visited any of the sites are being told to get tested and self-isolate.

Must have cranked up the PCR cycle threshold to 50 or 60...
Gotta keep the positive cases rolling in to keep the fear and hysteria
pumped up... :rofl
