except those in essential services to stay at home for 14 days in isolation.
No shopping - everything closed down.

That's how it needs to be dealt with.
It's what happened in Wuhan.
I don't believe it can be stopped and isolated in any other way.
Certainly - millions of people traveling to work inside
trains and buses with windows that don't open
so they get no fresh air is a recipe for transmission of the virus.

We can't be in lock down forever.
We might have to just let the virus take it's course and let 1% of the population die.
The alternative could be worse if our economy is completely destroyed then more people could die.

I say that knowing that my own chances are much worse than 1% of dying from the virus.

we don't have enough test kits to test everyone.
90,000 more kits are on their way but
we certainly won't have 25 million kits.

Chin up. Freaking out probably does more to compromise your system than the virus does. Unless you already have severely compromised heart or lungs you should come through it just fine.

Coronavirus theory.

How do we know that a strong herd immunity hasn't
already built up in China by now?
It's possible that 90% of people who got the virus
didn't have any symptoms at all and their bodies
built up immunity and they were never tested.
In which case there are millions of people out there who
are not carriers and have 100% immunity to it.
If that's the case then the virus is stopped in its tracks
and hardly anyone needs to fear it anymore.
