Re: Astra Zeneca is finished in Australia
A friend from church died suddenly on Easter weekend. She was 42. I wonder if she had the vaccine. She was feeling bad and sat on a bench at the church Easter Egg Hunt. Her teenage daughter sat next to her. After a few minutes, she stopped talking and they did CPR for 10 minutes before the ambulance arrived. Medics worked on her for 30 minutes and couldn't revive her.

Re: Astra Zeneca is finished in Australia
I just spoke to my wife. This lady had a history of heart problems. I don't think it was covid or vaccine related. She would be a prime candidate for the vaccine with her heart issues and her husband's diabetes. I'm not going to ask her family about vaccines. It's none of my business and I don't want them to think I'm using her death as a political football. Its too soon.Bobby wrote: ↑Sun Apr 11, 2021 10:07 pmDid she have Covi?Texan wrote: ↑Sun Apr 11, 2021 9:59 pmA friend from church died suddenly on Easter weekend. She was 42. Fair enough - sorry to hear that you've lost a friend.Texan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 12:46 amI just spoke to my wife. This lady had a history of heart problems. I know dozens and maybe hundreds who have had covid. I've known 3 who have died and 2 had serious health issues already. One had a heart transplant and was 70 and the other was morbidly obese, 60, and diabetic. The third was a girl I grew up with in school. I haven't seen her in 35 years, but we had a lot of common friends on FB.Bobby wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 8:41 amFair enough - sorry to hear that you've lost a friend.Texan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 12:46 amI just spoke to my wife. This is SloMo throwing his hands in the air and giving up....
We are ranked 90th in the world when it comes to vaccine rollout...
He says there are too many uncertainties to set targets...
Gimme a break...
This is polite political spin which in reality is a sign that this PM is a weak leader
and has totally lost the plot...
Meanwhile Murray on Sky defends SloMo and says its all political..
Murray like many Sky commentators, would hurry to the front of the line to kiss
SloMos arse if the invitation was given....

Victoria is talking about pausing AZ for two weeks to enable further training of health workers...
Further training....how much training is needed to give a jab.....
"The Andrews government cancelled appointments for under 50s on Friday following Commonwealth advice that the risks associated with AstraZeneca jabs may outweigh the benefits."
Have they got that right....I thought the benefits outweighed the risks...
Meanwhile Campbell Newman is suggesting Local Government should be involved....
Heres an idea...why dont they get everyone to go to their local pub, order a schooner, and
get the jab at the bar...not sure if you get cheese and dip at the same time..
Maybe even get a jab from the gardener...
Local Government....youre kidding Campbell...arent you....???
Meanwhile...theres no targets any more...
Just hope for the best...fingers crossed....
Long live SloMo....

Re: Astra Zeneca is finished in Australia
I just calculated that if we had the same number of
deaths per capita as the USA then over 43,000 people would
have died from Covid in Australia.
