Re: NSW cases out of control.
How do they police "no browsing" in shops....
Are plebs going to be kicked out of shops if they pick up
a tomato and pick up another tomato...maybe a banana...then an avocado....
Police apparently are going to go into shopping centres to move people along....
This is Stalinesque.....
If this draconian attitude continues, Sydney will blow up...
They have seen what happened in Melbourne....
They know whats coming....
The politicians sugar coat everything by using words such as "compliance"
and "do the right thing"....
AND dont forget to dob your mate in if he's doing the wrong thing....
Very Orwellian....

They are the ones spreading it in the south west so tough luck for them! I'm happy that they aren't allowed more than 10km from home when 'exercising' as well.Bobby wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 12:18 pmbilly the kid wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 12:05 pmHow do they police "no browsing" in shops....

New restrictions as NSW records 44 new locally acquired COVID-19 infections

NSW recorded 44 locally acquired COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8:00pm yesterday.
The source of nine of these remains under investigation.
Twenty-nine of the new cases were either fully or partially in the community while infectious.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian stressed the importance of strict lockdown measures to avoid deaths.
"This is the opposite of where we need or want the numbers to trend," she said.
"Do not think that the NSW Government thinks we can live with this when our rate of vaccination is only at 9 per cent."
Ms Berejiklian said several new social distancing restrictions will be introduced to combat the state’s COVID-19 outbreak.
From 5:00pm today in Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shoalhaven:
People will be able to exercise only in groups of two (or with their households)
People may not exercise more than 10km from their homes
From Sunday, the number of mourners at funerals will be capped at 10.
Chief health officer Kerry Chant said this outbreak is now at it's "challenging" point.
"I know that this has been a long journey in the fight against COVID but we cannot stumble over this hurdle," she said.
"This is an incredibly challenging time and I want to stress I am incredibly concerned. I need all members of the community to
follow the public health advice."
This is a hard pandemic to control

Re: NSW cases out of control.
Haphazzard suggest we will have to live with the virus...
Gladys waters it down.....and rejects that opinion....
Already the cracks are appearing in the entire narrative...
Maybe Haphazzard knows that the Delta strain defeats the Pfizer
jab and that Pfizer has already sought approval for a booster...
Interesting to watch the egos at work here...
Gladys cant be seen as a failure...
HapHazzard may have seen the light (but has to toe the party line....)
As have how many other cabinet members I wonder...
If we were going gangbusters, why would the federal government
suddenly introduce a VICS...
Why would they bring back the second AZ dose to 8 weeks...
Some "experts" suggest that this reduces efficacy...
Winter is coming...
How will Australian hospitals cope with a winter surge of everything...
Zero flu at the moment...but ambulances waiting in line at every EU
to get in...
The phrase "running around like headless chooks" comes to mind...
