I'll say this again even more slowly
The headline said that Victoria was projected to have 11,000 more cases by next week. Who knows? We'll find out soon enough.

Former Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett says he believes current state leader Daniel Andrews “cannot survive’ the coronavirus crisis and will step down within months.
“I think Daniel is preparing to exit,” Kennett told Sunrise during a discussion with David Koch, Natalie Barr and One Nation NSW MP Mark Latham on Friday.

“I think he will try to get the coronavirus under control, hopefully by Christmas, and I think he’ll then stand down and move on.”

https://summit.news/2020/08/07/video-wo ... -lockdown/A video out of Melbourne, Australia shows a woman being pinned to the ground and arrested by police for being outside during lockdown, a confrontation that left her with severe bruising.
The clip shows the woman screaming in pain as three male officers try to handcuff her while kneeling on her body.
The woman is then led away as her daughter, who filmed the incident, is threatened with arrest for not producing her ID.
“Yes you are doing something wrong, you’re out in contravention of the COVID restrictions,” states the female officer.

Wasnt it him who broke up Victorias health system into autonomous parts!
meaning there is no clear centralised authority to manage things in times of crisis such as these.
Victoria still had only 14 contact tracers when the coronavirus hit in March this year. By contrast, as reported by The Daily Telegraph last month, the number of contact tracers in NSW was 150 and being expanded to 380 – of whom up to 80 are now being deployed to Victoria.
