I got whooping cough as a baby even though I'd been vaccinated. It was very mild though. Every one of the people allowed back from India should be jabbed with something. Not necessarily THE jab.

I got it as an adult, even though I was vaccinated as a child/ infant!
Very unpleasant!

This is also the reason why some folks still get a mild flu, even if they are vaccinated.
Doesn't prevent it, rather reduces the severity of it.

On another note re jab hesitancy...
Many punters in Australia have casual/part time jobs....
I wonder if part of the jab hesitancy stems from the concern that if a punter
who has a casual job gets the jab and suffers side effects necessitating him/her to
have time off work...would they not get the jab simply because they thought they
would lose their job completely if they had to have a few days off due to side effects....
Therefore they dont get it...
Bearing in mind that small businesses with under 15 employees can dismiss a worker
for any reason if he/she has not been employed there for 12 months.....
Get the jab...ring up sick... havea few days off....get told not to come back....

I posted an article yesterday referring to our much quoted but rarely seen 'expert' medical advice. Not sure I like Coatsworth but he's more sensible than whomever ScoMo is drawing from.

And while it is supposedly on the basis of the often referred to but rarely seen “medical advice”, that fig leaf has been thoroughly blown away by the federal government’s own former deputy chief medical officer Nick Coatsworth, who has publicly called for a realistic reopening of borders starting from early next year and blasted the eradication strategy as a “false idol”.

Although the comments section becomes a bit of an echo chamber, it shows
just how much the US population is not being conned by this whole debacle....
I read a comment today which pointed out that if an illegal went to the EU of a hospital
and had to be admitted, the hospital has to pay for all expenses....
That is, unless the hospital states that the illegal "had covid"
Then the hospital gets a grant which pays for everything......
