Unless you have serious health issues, it's not bad. For 5 days I would get a fever up to about 39 degrees. One dose of ibuprofen would knock out the fever for 10-12 hours and I felt fine as long as my fever was down. My cough was minimal for about 2 weeks. I waited for 12 days after symptoms to get tested and I tested negative at that point. My son had the same symptoms and Mrs Texan had similar symptoms, but she also had nausea and vomiting and that's what landed her in the hospital for 5 days. She always has a weak stomach when she gets sick. I'm 53 and overweight, but otherwise very healthy. Perfect blood pressure, blood sugar, and resistance to illness. I don't go to the gym, but I walk a lot at work and often lift heavy batteries by hand all day. (up to 45 kg) I take no prescription medicine unless I am sick.

Trump is older, but he has the world's best healthcare and he gets treated very early before he even has symptoms. I suspect that his secret service detail has already voluntarily been exposed to covid so they can be immune and effective as security. It also gives the president access to antibodies if a secret serviceman has the same blood type as the president. He has access to experimental treatments and high dollar treatments that most people can't get yet. I didn't think his illness would be an issue for more than a week.
