I wouldn't be wearing one alone in the car.

Sydney has several clusters now too! Hoardes of people had a "wild party" last night so I guess we will see what happens there.

Well you're lucky - in Melbourne it's a $200 fine for not
wearing a mask while driving alone in a car.

Sydney is just so many weeks behind Melbourne.
It will be there too soon in just as many numbers.

Dan's new Victoria:

Sodomites are OK but normal people must wear a mask while driving a car alone.

Make your own face mask from a sock. This is pretty cool.

Thanks BO.

This is crazy - I'm supposed to wear a mask while
I'm driving alone in my car.
Daniel Andrews has gone insane.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-07-19/ ... m/12470640

Should I wear a mask while driving?
Mr Andrews says err on the side of caution and wear a mask whenever possible.
Yes, that means even if you are driving a car.

Experiment.

Well - I tried wearing a mask while driving today.
I wear spectacles and they kept fogging up so that I couldn't see.
I tried putting the mask in different positions but
the air kept escaping from the top of the mask
& condensing on my spectacles.

I don't know what to do.
Maybe I could try another mask that might seal better at the top?

Maybe get a breathable mesh mask while you are in the car then change it when you get out? They don't specify what type of mask you must wear. I've seen people in pics wearing these.

Those masks don't present any barrier to viruses.
