It seems like I've seen that picture on here more than once.
I think you're smitten.

She does have nice taste in firearms.
She looks like someone on a mission who would definitely
shoot you if she thought she had a good reason.
I bet she is a sweetheart and her husband loves her very much. She doesn't want to shoot anyone.
I still don't have the nerve to open carry. I'd worry that someone would try to take it from me or if a robber walked in near me, would target me as a threat to him. Concealed is the way to go.

I don't know about that.
I'm afraid of guns.
Back to the story:
I've never seen a nurse or a doctor with a gun before.

My oldest was born in a military hospital. My wife was having difficulties in her restroom with blood clotting and she pulled the cord to call for help. The nurses were in camo uniforms with combat boots and it sounded like a stampede when the nurses sprinted to her room. No guns though. My 12 hour old son lifted his head to look for the fighter jets flying over the hospital. It was my everyday life, but you never expect that in a hospital.

"We are administering the Johnson & Johnson (1 shot only) vaccine utilizing our
deputy sheriff personnel who are certified paramedics and emergency medical technicians,” the website states. “LASD is working with local community based organizations like ‘Integrated Community Collaborative’ and ‘Disability Voices United’ to connect with LA County residents most in need, go to their residences, and provide them this life-saving opportunity.”

How do you know she's a nurse?

Key words
Deputy Sheriff personnel. Doesn't say she's a nurse and if she's a part of the Sheriff's office you'd expect her to be wearing a gun wouldn't you?
It also accounts for the colour of her clothing. She's not a nurse dressed in paramilitary gear. She's referred to in your article as an LAPD Officer. She's a cop.

First and foremost she's a cop. Not a nurse running around playing Sheriff.

Yes - I thought I'd seen everything till today.
A cop qualified to inject vaccine into your arm
( while you are held at gun point - sort of).
