Indian Bar Association sues WHO scientist over Ivermectin

I saw an interview with Theresa Lawrie one of the authors of this paper talking about an Ivermectin trial that was halted because the placebo group weren't doing well they decided it was unethical to keep going with trial and gave the placebo group Ivermectin.

Theresa mentioned Declaration of Helsinki in halting trials.

Conclusions:

Moderate-certainty evidence finds that large reductions in COVID-19 deaths are possible using ivermectin. Using ivermectin early in the clinical course may reduce numbers progressing to severe disease. The apparent safety and low cost suggest that ivermectin is likely to have a significant impact on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic globally.
