At the tennis starting next week, the bureaucrats in their infinite wisdom have decreed
that when the roof of the stadium is closed, you must wear a mask.
If it is open, then masks are not necessary.
This is because, in their infinite wisdom, if the roof is closed, then the
stadium becomes an indoor event...
I see.....
Can everyone else see the absolute stupidity in this ruling.
Joe has been sitting in the same spot for hours watching his favourite prima donna
out on court, together with thousands of others Joes...all sitting there with no masks on....
(30,000 a day I believe is the crowd level permitted...)
Suddenly, theres a hint of rain....and bingo..play is suspended whilst the roof
is closed.....and everyone puts their masks on....
BUT but but...couldnt the virus have been spread BEFORE the roof is closed...
Suddenly because the roof is closed, there is a danger of covid spreading.....
AND what happens when the rain clears and the roof is opened....
EVERYONE can now take their mask off...
BUT everyone is still sitting next to one another....potentially spreading the virus....
You cant honestly believe that these fools are in authority.....
WHILST everyone watching at other "fringe" courts are sitting there....
WITH NO MASKS....
Unbelievable...
When do they bring in the performing seals....
