Repost the original OP from the Sand Pit with some minor changes/additions:

We already have one of these Threads in Chat......maybe Annie can merge this with that one when she sees this one. But Monk, are you being troubled by spambot posts? I doubt you see any at all.

Ele, this is a wishlist for brightening “the old girl” up a bit, discreet touch of lipstick you know? Try not making personal “I’m all right with picture size” type remarks. Would somewhat bigger, higher resolution posts brighten the old girl up, is it worth trying, would it hurt anything to try it?

Some boards out there have really slick “skins” others are based on Wordpress that allows cool gadgets etc etc and we are trying to compete against those. Also this board is way way way down in Google rankings, another whole subject to think on and discuss rationally. So I am trying to lift some irksome limits and present a more appealing “face” to those who find us and might consider joining. My board and this board working together can lift our Google rankings so hopefully garnering a few more looks from those looking for a political board. But that is another subject.

Now that I have seen what the avatar can grow too, I have a mind to change it back. But, I'll wait for others to comment.

Monk, fact is......the font size was set at what you wanted BEFORE I became Admin. So, you were campaigning (in my term) for something boxy had already done in his, and you had not noticed.



The time limit on edits......have you noticed that you have been pissing into the breeze about that one too? It too was changed to a week.



BUT....tonight, I did alter the avatar settings as you have been banging on and on about. I don't like the effect. Far too large. But, I am happy to wait for general Member feedback/comment.

Tonight, I also changed the settings for images, and I am quite happy with the outcome. But, that is just me. Maybe, others do not like it.
