I have seen the TV Reports about the findings, and it seems to me that they.........yeah........they........have gone to some lengths to say it was the fault of the pilot, but then they......yeah........they attempt to redeem him.
I have seen the vision of the incident as we all have, and if someone can tell me how that idiot expected to land that thing on that place, I'd be obliged, and amazed.
He came in at a zillion mph, at a very low angle, and I assume the smart arse intended to flare...............and drop like a butterfly with sore feet......but he fucked up, big time.
Simple.
His fault.
That Black Hawk disaster.....

Re: That Black Hawk disaster.....
I haven't seen that movie in ages. As I recall it seemed pretty realistic.

Just my opinion, but I think there was a technical problem.
The angle that pilot was coming in on that deck was one no pilot would attempt. Not even a cowboy.
Pilots want to live just like everyone else.
There was some technical steering problem.
