Re: Favourite Movie...
Too many to name but here are a few,
Little Big Man: “
Jack Crabb: Grandfather, I have a white wife.
Old Lodge Skins: You do? That's interesting. Does she cook and does she work hard.
Jack Crabb: Yes, Grandfather.
Old Lodge Skins: That surprises me. Does she show pleasant enthusiasm when you mount her?
Jack Crabb: Well sure, Grandfather.
Old Lodge Skins: That surprises me even more. I tried one of them once, but she didn't show any enthusiasm at all.
Unforgiven
Little Bill Daggett: I don't deserve this... to die like this. I was building a house.
Will Munny: Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.
[aims gun]
Little Bill Daggett: I'll see you in hell, William Munny.
Will Munny: Yeah.
Patton:
The Carthaginians defending the city were attacked by three Roman legions. The Carthaginians were proud and brave but they couldn't hold. They were massacred. Arab women stripped them of their tunics and their swords and lances. The soldiers lay naked in the sun. Two thousand years ago. I was here.
The Jungle Book: “Look for the bear necessities.”
300: “The world will know that free men stood against a tyrant, that few stood against many, and before this battle was over, even a god-king can bleed.”
Finding Nemo: “Immmmm having fish tongight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Cool Hand Luke: “Why you so good to me boss?”
:
Forrest Gump: Lieutenant Dan, what are you doing here?
Lieutenant Daniel Taylor: I'm here to try out my sea legs.
Forrest Gump: But you ain't got no legs, Lieutenant Dan.
Lieutenant Daniel Taylor: [mildly irritated, but understanding] Yes... yes, I know that. You wrote me a letter, you idiot!
The Wizard of Oz: “If I were King of the Forrest!!!!!!!!!”
There Is Something About Mary: Is it the beans or the frank?
Little Big Man: “

The great escape
I love that Steve McQueen scene on the bike, and the music that goes with it.

Re: Favourite Movie...
Great Escape was a terrific film.
Little Big Man, Play Misty for Me, Dirty Harry, Blues Brothers, O Brother Where Art Thou, The Commitments, Catch-22, Good Morning Vietnam, The Graduate, The Green Mile, Butch Cassidy, The Sting, Cool Runnings.
It's too hard to pick one. But mostly they were better before special effects took over from acting.
