Roasted sweetcorn

Post by Jovial Monk » Sun Feb 08, 2009 8:02 pm

Got a couple nice corncobs, striped zuchini and cherry tomatoes out the garden just now.

Thinking of roasting them.

Anyone have any thoughts on roasting the sweetcorn?

{Sandpit now falls into an orgasm of squeaking "told you he talks of the garden & cooking, told you, told you"} poor fluffy bunnies.

Pop the corn then wipe it on your scrotum, then dance around the living room naked singing it is raining men!

You are dreaming of your own stewed tomatoes.

Sundried, not stewed.

Was thinking that when making a pizza, could mash up some sundrieds with garlick and dried chili for use as a smashing sauce to put on the pizza base. . .

So, for a change, you were almost right. . .

Hmmm just boiled the cobs in some water. Fantastic taste! And still got lots more cobs ripening! Yeah, the recipes I saw, did call for the corn to be cut off the cob, no way, not for the first cobs!

You can microwave corn on the cob. You run it under cold water, letting a little get under the husks, leave the husks on and microwave for, I think, 3 minutes. Very hot.

My husk looks like the Garden of Eden.

Many will be expelled from that grace.

My husk also looks like David Kosch's head.

All should be relieved to be expelled in that garden.
