I hate being unable to swim on a hot day.
I love shopping, any kind, home network or stores ..I hate food shopping.
I love the rain..sleeping is much cosier when its raining..grey skies are beautiful.

I think possibly you need to examine what sort of person you are if people ask you to squeeze their pimples.
The Mayans predicted the end of the world in December 2012, but they didn't see the Spanish coming

Re: Love and Hate
Hate the heat, hate the cold. Hate shopping, except at the supermarket (I need to get out more).
Love it when something flourishes in my garden, hate handling soil.
Love my dog (even when he/she fails obedience class). Love my sisters. Hate brandy. Love whisky.

The better I get to know people, the more I find myself loving dogs.

I look forward to a cool breeze in summer.
But hate wind... wind makes any type of weather worse.
Hot weather it makes dangerous, cold weather it makes intolerable, rain it drives right into you and hail becomes painful!

Re: Love and Hate
I once forced the evacuation of an open verandah with a bit of wind, even though it was blowing a gale. But hate wind... wind makes any type of weather worse.
Re: Love and Hate
Hmmmm 'that' wind.
When Dad was still alive but retired he and Mum had some favorite drives. One was to Outer Harbor here in Adelaide. Because of the biiiiiiig breakwater at OH the last 2-3Km south of the breakwater tended to have a lot of sand and big piles of smelly, decaying seagrass (often incorrectly called 'seaweed' by those less intelligent than me
) and this decaying seagrass smelled pretty fucking bad. OK scene set.
Mum & Dad driving toward Outer Harbor and Mum remarked "phew, bit smelly here" to which Dad replied 'It is all that rotting seaweed, better close your window."
It wasn't until she noticed Dad's shoulders shaking that she surmised the real reason of the smell
Hey, don't start talking to Dutch people (even those long in Oz) about fart jokes!
errr, no won't replay some hilarious tales, sorry.
