It's raining

Post by Bobby » Sun Jan 05, 2020 10:23 am

Finally some rain has come with cool conditions.
In Melbourne it's only 12 degrees right now!

I've just been outside -
it's been raining for hours and I had to put a beany and a scarf on.
It's cold and it's raining.
On the news - this rain band will hit the fire areas perhaps today.
It's already a lot cooler.

Good news. The rain will knock down some of the smoke as well.

It's the best news we've heard in months.

You're lucky, Bobby. No rain here just smoke.

12 million acres so far and counting.

We have a 20% chance of showers later. In plain English that means we will see none.

I just hope they get some where the fires are but I doubt that will happen either. I will continue to hope though.

And if we do, it will be a few drops.

Try to think positively.

The only reason that there are such large forests to begin with - is adequate rainfall.

Well I'm going to do my bit. I'm popping out and leaving the washing out.
