Man falls from landing plane

Post by Black Orchid » Tue Jul 02, 2019 5:39 pm

The body of a stowaway that fell from the undercarriage of a jet as it approached Heathrow Airport after a nine-hour flight from Nairobi landed just a metre from a sunbaking man.

Police say the body of an unidentified man was found in a residential garden in south London's Clapham area on Sunday, and it's believed he fell from a plane.

A neighbour said the man fell near another resident who was lying in the sun, leaving him "very shaken".

The neighbour described hearing a "whomp" before going to check out the window for the source of the noise and seeing the body.

“He had all his clothes on and everything," he told the Press Association.

"So I went outside and it was just then the neighbour came out and he was very shaken.

"He had been sunbathing and he (the body) had landed one metre away from him."

A bag, water and food were discovered in the plane's landing-gear compartment after it landed.

The airline called the death "unfortunate" and said it was co-operating with British and Kenyan authorities.

Stowing away in a plane's undercarriage is exceptionally dangerous.

Experts believe roughly three-quarters of stowaways do not survive because of the extreme cold and lack of oxygen as the plane reaches cruising altitude.

Though not common, stowaways have in the past plunged to the streets of London as planes lowered their landing gear.
Imagine being out sunbaking and a body falls out of the sky next to you? Not nice!

The darker the skin

The dumber the kin
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

That would do it for me. No more sunbathing, not that I will ever feel the need anyway.

He forgot to pack a coat and some oxygen.
