The Christmas Blues.

Post by JW.Frogen » Thu Dec 17, 2009 8:41 pm

I don’t know why but this Christmas I really have the blues and there is not enough booze to shake this shit off.

I have a healthy, happy young son, my wife stays with me for some strange reason, I own my home (or the bank lets me think that), my job is alight, no great conversation or mental stimulation, not Plato's academy, but they mean well and it is not the mindless hell many people work in, and despite my drinking I am still healthy.

Yet I have the BB King blues.

Cheer me up you fuckers and fucketts.

Been there, done that. (I have to do all the heavy orgasmic lifting and she makes a shit omelet in the morning. If she does not offer me muesli!)

Dam, I really am bluer than Picasso painting sad post cards.

But thanks anyway Ms. Auz, even if I would have preferred another picture of your beautiful neck.

Maybe she is not into morning muesli, maybe she just likes the hot/ steamy/ orgasmic sex

We all have the blues sometimes , its gonna pass , you know it will.

But thanks anyway Ms. Auz, even if I would have preferred another picture of your beautiful neck.
Thank you Frogen

Yeah I know it will pass.

The problem is we will all pass too.

Which either makes this thing we experience as life a complete waist of time, or a miracle of the momentarily.

Perhaps both?

And I am so drunk right now I can not feel drunk, so God is on my shit list at the present moment.

Santa can fuck off too.

7.11am every Saturday, Frogbone. You drive the buggy, you are not allowed anywhere near a golf ball.

Okay?

Frogbone.........has it ever occurred to you that I can accommodate you, your Bride, your Son, here on the Sunshine Coast, (no golf for you.....you drive the buggy) and the Indian Bride will deliver to your plate no less than the best Indian curry you have ever experienced?

I bet you knock me back.

The Ray Charles Christmas album has just been released on CD. If that doesn't help you might try Leon Redbone.

Cheer up. She and he take you how you are and know you how you are. You're other stuff as well as a hopeless (at times) drunk. They love you for those things.
