Police are trying to identify a cyclist who attacked a man who was standing on a boat ramp in Wellington Point on Monday.
The cyclist approached the 61-year-old man on Main Road South at 6.30am and yelled abuse at him before pushing him over, police said.

The man who had been assaulted stumbled backwards and hit the passenger doors of his car.
Police said the cyclist, who was wearing black, red and white cycling lycra and a white bike helmet, then approached the man again and punched him in the face, causing him to fall over, before kicking him in the ribs and chest while he was on the ground.
The attacker then rode away on his bike.
The victim suffered cuts, bruising and swelling.

As I have explained in previous posts
When the toreadores want bulls angry and aggressive, they tie up their balls.
The exact same effect is achieved by wearing lycra and sitting on a bike seat
The result, lycra clad loonies are always angry about everything.
I fail to see why this Looney was angry though
It's usually about cars daring to drive on the same roads as they do.
But unless I'm mistaken, bikes can't ride on water?
Perhaps it was just angry because it couldn't ride on water?
I have a dream

A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

It seems very odd. There must be more to it.

I would imagine the driver cut off the cyclist badly, the cyclist then ....... reacted badly

Or the cyclist weaved his way to the front at traffic lights and took off slowly
The man had to wait until the road cleared and had to go into the outside lane to overtake, he beeped the cyclist, and the cyclist rightfully decided to beat up an old man, because he felt abused.
Yeah, of course the cyclist was in the right
After all, NO ONE has more rights than a lycra clad Looney, do they?

So the cyclist then stalked the driver and pounced much later as he was about to go fishing? Something definitely fishy!

VIOLENCE! People who cannot keep their "alleged" temper under control and take it out on an "alleged" complete stranger.
These are born and bred Aussies, why the grudge? Cyclists do get a lot of flack here in Canberra because they ride on the roads when there are bicycle paths everywhere. Still, no need for anybody to get that het up about anything that they assault someone.
As we used to say in the olden days "don't get off your bike, I'll pick up your pump".

I wonder if the coward would have attacked had it been an able bodied man.
I bet he would have just ridden around and waited until the man went off fishing
Then the coward would damage the man's car.
Lycra clad loonies ask for 90% of what they get.
