Students bond with Age Care Residents

Post by Neferti » Sun Nov 26, 2017 5:47 pm

Good News Story.

Help from Students with Oldies in Aged Care.
As part of a program run by Allity Aged Care at her nursing home in Walkerville in Adelaide's inner south-east, Mrs Wheeler sat down with year 10 student Nathan McCarthy once a week for 10 weeks to co-write her memoirs.

Don't children sit and talk to their Grandparents any more? I remember asking my Nana what it was like when she was a little girl and she loved to tell me all about it .... I also remember talking to my other Nana and she told me all about how she had met Grandpa.

Do you tell your children (or grandchildren) what it was like when you were their age?

MEMORIES .... great to have once somebody has gone ....
