Computer Games

Post by Neferti » Tue Apr 05, 2016 4:48 pm

Does anybody here still play Computer Games?

I have a bookcase full of Adventure Games ... mostly played once. Some very old and in pristine condition and collectors would pay good money to acquire.

I have about 10 games on Steam that I have downloaded (or been given) ....

Yesterday I loaded a came called Tycoon City - New York, which somebody returned to me ... and it fired up without problems although it is 10 years old. Mindless "building cities" sort of game, but fun for a while.

I might load up a few other old games that certainly don't need 36 GB of RAM, just to see what happens ... many games that played on XP and (way) before won't work on more "modern" computers.

At Xmas I fired up the original doom. Loved it and remember the first night I played it when a Pink Pig jumped out of the dark and scared the shit out of me. Hooked on first person shooters ever since.

Don't have time to play anymore.

Daughter just loves Minecraft. had to ban her from play it. Also they watch videos of other people playing, don't get it.

I liked Halo 1 and 2, haven't got into 3 yet or the latest.
