You were doing pretty well up until this point.

Space time is warped by the mass of everything, and yes, black holes are at the extreme end of this, warping space time to such an extent that nothing can climb out of the gravity well.

But that hasn't got anything to do with the cause of the big bang, which was the creation of the universe as we know it, and we have no way of seeing back in time "before" the big bang (if time even existed "before").

It's a bunch of people asking "what if?", and then going out and gathering evidence to either back up their suppositions, or falsify them. The evidence bit is what makes it science... without it, the "what if?" bit is just philosophy.

Funny enough, there was another doco on of Stephen Hawking lat night, I took some notes,
in it he calls it "The theory of everything"

Theory=
1) A speculative idea or plan as to how something "MIGHT" be done.
2) The principles of an art or science rather that it's practice.
3) A guess.

As in "What if?"
There are countless scientists out there that disagree with each other and so they set out to either prove what was put to them or come up with a better result or to cancel out what was put forward and present a totally new way of looking at it.

I think you've all lost sight of the original premise here. We aren't talking about food (btw the last dodo was probably taken by a scientist/naturalist, not for food) we are talking about one species 'intentionally' causing the extinction of another to control a resource or to prove dominance, as would be the case with an extra terrestrial race.

Back to the actual suject of aliens.
Just recently it was announce that science has found microbes in meterorite rock,
natuarally it is called "Alien" simply meaning, "Life from another world"
but the have also found similar microbes in ice cores 3 miles deep.

Yes, I do believe there is other life out there and yes, I do believe they have visited us and will continue.
