Having babies is pretty physical work. And caring for them is physical work too. You know how people train to run a marathon for ages then do it? Having a baby is the other way around, but the marathon is very painful, and then the twelve months preparation comes, but you can't schedule the activities, as there is constant demand...

Swam - I have a genuine question. My cousin told me that the first step to happiness is to not watch the news. Is she correct?

If she isn't, what is the first step?

(A subscription to ratemypoo is not really an option for me. On many levels.)

That used to be true but now that news is no longer news but rather entertainment it is no longer true.

If you want to be unhappy you have to watch Australian soap operahs, or even worse Australian sit coms.

I only watch the ABC and SBS newses - they are pretty depressing. But can one afford not to?
