Re: El Paso mass murder
Don't forget Fort Hood. The shooter was a Major in the US Army and he specifically chose a place where his victims were soldiers preparing to deploy and they were guaranteed to be unarmed. US military bases are gun free except for military police and in areas where training is taking place. Punishment is severe for possessing a gun on federal property. I can't even carry my gun in the local Post Office. Only lately have base commanders been given authority to allow military members to concealed carry in "non mission critical" areas of the base such as the base commissary or the base exchange.

All drugs are banned in the states how well is that working for them lol
The ban on military weapons in NZ isnt going so well, KPMG has done an audit , they think there are around 170,000 banned weapons in circulation, it looks like they will probably get 30,000 handed in,,

the fact you can buy these war weapons in Walmart makes us all sick...we cannot understand any country allowing this to be the case...
crazy bizarre sicko... its all that... and no one seems to have any POWER over stopping it....
Amerika can call a WAR on any country in the world...WE HAVE THE MIGHT AND POWER.....yet they cannot control gun sales that might go someway towards stopping mass murder..

Cods ,relatively speaking these types of events dont kill that many people in the US , for example 70,200 people died from drug overdoses in 2017, 35,000 died on the roads, wheres the call to ban cars ?

America should have had more guns.
If the victims were armed far fewer would have died.

IMO, if there had been more guns then there would have been more people wounded if not outright killed. The Police would have a much harder time sorting out who was the original shooter and who was responding to him. You're also assuming that the people with guns are trained to use them and are able to shoot accurately. Most tests reveal the reverse.
Who goes shopping with gun on their shoulder? It was in suburban Texas, not downtown Kabul...

I mentioned a while back I have never seen a shooter killed by someone in the crowd...if it was a shoot out like the OK Coral at least you would know you were in the Wild West as it is these are people going about their every day lives...no one goes shopping expecting to be shot at and need to defend themselves.....
well they didnt used too....
can we now expect every Amerikan citz to now carry a firearm?..

Shoppers also don't expect to be ploughed down by cars when they are out and about. Should we ban Islam?
