Some things....

1. I intend to insert a Clause that a Petition will lapse after 60 days from commencement.
2. My proposal will limit Voters in any referendum to those who have posted at least 10 times in the two months which precede the commencement of the referendum.
3. It will also limit Voters for Admin election to those who have posted at least 10 times in the two months which precede the declaration of an election.....and remember, that could be at any time, not just at the end of a 12 month term.

They all sound okay. 60 days sounds possibly a bit long. How about puppets or people posting from doubtful ips? They might get the ten posts up. What about if someone is banned but has made the requisite number of posts in the period prior to banning?

Yeas....good points. The number 60 could easily change to 30. Dealing with sus logins is a tougher question because it will only be Admin who can see the IPs, and he may well have a vested interest in declaring someone as sus. Of course, that is how it works now, and it may be the only way, given only I can see IPs, (apart from freediver, and it is my intent that he have NIL power/rights other than as Member unless he has been elected as Admin. I know he can use a Tank if he wants to, but the Constitution will otherwise declare his status/power as the same as Member.)

Well, if they abandon the field, then they have lost the field. Simple. This place is not supposed to be about who is the Admin. People come and go, and if they have gone and not made the franchise requirements, tough.

You do not get to control/influence a fishing environment by leaving it to others to look after while you have a tantrum.
