mmm I missed this mantra..Now Im curious..is it DT..IQ?mantra wrote:This is very intriguing Auzgurl. To me everyone seems neuter gender - maybe there's something that I've overlooked. I know someone who fancies you, but I wouldn't embarrass him by giving his net name - he's not on this forum.
Let me think - on PA1 - Boxy & Ravi, Frogen & xbz, Aussie & Eli - hmmm this is hard.

Re: Internet Love..
I met my husband on the internet. I fell in love over the internet. I refused to acknowledge the reality of that until i met him because i believed that yes, the internet can be deceptive. However, if two people are are very honest with each other then the internet can be a very safe, very slow and careful way to get to know each other. I mentioned my daughter's internet boyfriend coming over for a visit from overseas a while back. Their marriage is coming up in a month or so now. My daughter met him a couple of years back on the net.
I think it is very odd people would pair me with Aussie in a romantic sense. There has never been anything like that between us. He is just an online friend- we have never even chatted online. Similarly Frogen, although there may have been some mild flirtation, after all he is Frogen. Boxy was a good friend for a while and we did chat online, but there was no romantic or sexual connotation involved. He actually knew about my developing relationship with my husband to some and helped me through some times of emotional turmoil.

AND most of us dont ask..what the hell the person on the other side looks like.
A person words and writing style can totally belie who is on the other side...I always think if someone is flirting with me he may look like Gollum and how does he know I dont either?
