Now we have a coal seam spewing methane into the atmosphere. I might be alive yet to see the war for control of Himalayan snowfields. It will be bloody with no quarter sought or given as the fate of 4 billion people are at stake.
Ooooooooooooooooh.

Yet never a relationship that you should protect. No wonder you vote Labor.

Most of us have children. You have a dog and a strawberry patch.

Why don't you just wander off to Thailand and live the Life or something.

Another sign of global warming is the pine bark beetle. These pests in sufficient numbers remove the bark from softwoods killing it by the equivalent of ringbarking. They are present in the North American continent and most used to get killed in the winter.

Global warming means winters in North America are too mild and too short to kill the pine bark beetles in sufficient numbers. As a result, from Canada to New Mexico millions of acres of conifers have been killed. The dead trees then rot and emit methane.

Look Nef... the sky is blue, forget about cloud and the albedo effect forget about negative feedbacks and the complexity of the climate system. Forget about the Sun... it's all meaningless, the sky is blue and the bugs are out... therefore the Earth is warming and it's all our fault.

We are doomed unless we do what Julia says and pay the Carbon Tax. That is the only thing between us and TES (toasted earth syndrome).

Forget about those lies, there never was an IceAge, the Earth has never been hotter, and... and... well I'll make something up... oh yeah - correlation does mean causation... it is indisputable I tell you.

If you don't believe me... just look up... see? The sky is falling... the sky is falling I tell you, and its all our fault and that is why its getting hotter, you may think it's not, but that's just your body playing a trick on you. :purple :yellow

Anyone 27 years or younger has never experienced cooler than average temperatures! Astounding!
If you’re 27 or younger, you’ve never experienced a colder-than-average month

Nowhere on the surface of the planet have we seen any record cold temperatures over the course of the year so far. Every land surface in the world saw warmer-than-average temperatures except Alaska and the eastern tip of Russia. The continental United States has been blanketed with record warmth — and the seas just off the East Coast have been much warmer than average, for which Sandy sends her thanks.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration summarizes October 2012:

The average temperature across land and ocean surfaces during October was 14.63°C (58.23°F). This is 0.63°C (1.13°F) above the 20th century average and ties with 2008 as the fifth warmest October on record. The record warmest October occurred in 2003 and the record coldest October occurred in 1912. This is the 332nd consecutive month with an above-average temperature.

Emphasis added. If you were born in or after April 1985, if you are right now 27 years old or younger, you have never lived through a month that was colder than average. That’s beyond astonishing.

That isn't correct. Here are a couple of examples.
“We have actually not recorded a colder than average year since 1992. Despite temperatures being on the warm side, our overall average temperature of 18.7˚C this year was still the coldest in three years.”

http://www.weatherchannel.com.au/2011.aspx
Average minimum temperatures for winter were cooler than normal in the northern districts. Elsewhere, night-time temperatures were close to normal except for some parts of the south were they were higher than usual. During June, night-time temperatures were cooler than usual in parts of the north and also in Gippsland,

It was a US website. However, there are definitions, usually related to a baseline. Nothing you posted there really contradicts what the article said.
