Do you have to put effort into being such a tiresome jackass, or does it come naturally?
Do the words "fuck" and "off" mean anything to you poxy?

Or do you think "comprises" and "compromises" mean the same thing?
If I was sure without more info which one AiA meant I would have commented ages ago.

Get over it. It's obvious that he inserted the wrong word (probably through a spellchecker, selecting the first alternative that came up). Surely you can work that out for yourself, from the context, without having to make multiple posts about it.

Actually it wasn't clear from what he originally wrote.
it was only clear after I convinced him to EXPAND on his brevity.

I didn't even notice the typo/word substitution, and got his meaning quite easily... guess I'm just gifted like that 8-)

I guess you are... or maybe you just misread it or maybe I'm used to people saying what they mean and a higher standard of accuracy. I never assume.

Even when it's obvious, apparently.

Sucks to be you... so little faith in your own meagre ability to decipher human communication. Accents and local dialects must make it almost impossible for you to communicate.

Now where were we?

Oh yeah...

Pre poxy i was looking at the difference between the 2 versions of the quote and why I asked AiA what he had meant.

One would relate to religions compromising their rules.
The other would relate to the rules of a religion.
Catholics for example had a very bad time with people compromising their rules so we had break aways etc. Islam has major issue with all other religions not only their own adepts in compromising the word of God.
Religion compromises rules you follow. Faith is demonstrated by the actions you take.
I don't hold that faith and rules can be separated like that.
At least not in Christianity.
The 10 Commandments are Rules.
The Golden Rule... is a rule.
Jesus' teachings are rules.
One strives to follow them... these are actions, the rules define the actions. Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal...
Faith is the test of belief. In Christianity the test is to believe without absolute proof. Believing with proof is an easy thing, that is why it is a test of Faith.
Jn.3:16 Whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life
Jn.11:25,26 I am the resurrection and the life...whosoever believeth in Me shall never die
Acts 16:31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved
Rom.10:9,10 If thou shalt...believe in thine heart...thou shalt be saved
1Jn.5:1a Whosoever believeth Jesus is the Christ is born of God

Your original quote AiA.

I gather from your last post it was meant to say...

Religion comprises rules you follow or Religion is comprised of rules you follow. Faith is demonstrated by the actions you take.

I'll get back to you shortly. If I'm wrong just let me know.
comprises ... comprises ... comprises ... Religion comprises rules you follow. Was hoping to have a discussion about faith v religion with mention of the Big Man in the Sky or the Holy Book ...

Faith in what?
