They disappeared with the AiA account (if they are in fact gone).Aussie wrote:Yeah, when I was able to look.....there is no reference to any action as a Mod by AiA......I am now not prepared to jump to any sinister conclusion about that, but I also admit I have no logical explanation for how how such a large volume of record just vanished.....or why?
You thanked me for the (global mod) buttons on the same day as ele congratulated you.Aussie wrote:It was about seven days. In that time, I was absent for most of it, in Bundaberg with limited computer/net access. I don't recall having any buttons, but then again, I had little opportunity to check for days.

Wow.....I need to look at that carefully.boxy wrote:Ummmm, what would be the point of me deleting mod logs to cover up the deletion of threads from the smokey backroom forum? When I got back online (after it had been done), it was DT complaining about it (in real time) that tipped me off to it having happened. I checked the logs after that, and saw what had happened. AiA had also requested via PM to be deleted, so I did it not long after. Deleting the mod logs after DT and others had already seen the posts disappearing would have achieved nothing.
