It's not my forum, I just pop in and out in between busying myself with other things.

Why the enormous pressure re-getting new members?

I think negativity brings a forum down...if people like yourself would focus more on something other than gossip, this and actually engage in actual political debate, then the vibe would improve.

If you want to socialise and bitch about people, there are plenty of forums for this sort of thing.

The minute you got here you engaged in bitching about posters you claim to have never interacted with.

I think once the bitching stops... new users will take an interest.

And if they don't, then so be it.

To me you sound like someone with a bee in their bonnet intentionally coming here to drag the place down because you aren't happy about something.

The new management perhaps?

Well tough luck...it's the luck of the draw... you win some you lose some.... have you and Aussey thought about starting up your own forum?

I'm sure it will be an absolute cracker.

:) When Aussey and Lisa were running this site, it went to hell...so it's going to take time to recover from their mismanagement.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

Lou, are you already leaving? You just got here today, hey?

Oh Mel, I just noticed something you said about when "Aussie and Lisa were running this site," so just a word about that while I'm at it.

Aussie and Lisa weren't running this site. Aussie was the admin for six months, and Pastafarian and I were the mods. But Lisa was an ordinary member.

She had a great deal of influence, shall we say. She was loud and pushy, and knew how to manipulate people. Aussie protected her. She latched onto the admin and us mods. She would send us pms almost every day, telling us what she wanted, and who she didn't like, and who she wanted banned because they were "trolling" her.

She claimed a place here with such a pushy attitude that she gave people the impression that she was moderating - or at least influencing us staff on how to run the forum - but she wasn't, and even now some people still think she had controls here, but she didn't.

Lou - we all hate unfriendly forums and it's a pity this one has come across to you this way, but at least most of the members (except Aussie) you'll find honest, if not diplomatic. If one or two members upset you - just ignore them and concentrate on the friendly ones.

I suppose PA doesn't cater to the sensitive, although most of us are when we're insulted. Sorry this has happened to you so quickly.

If you are a 'Thenthitive' type, then this is probably not the forum for you.
We have all copped it ... (some worse than others)... golly gosh, I have had people send me hate mail in the 'real' post, prank calls .... do you see me crawling under a rock?

It puts hairs on your chest lou... you just need to stop shaving them off and need to harden the fuck up!

It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better, if you wanted a knitting circle, then this isn't the forum for you.

Brutal, but honest.

I think you are the worst offender, are pretending to be sensitive...

ha ha ha -Smirk

Ps- Being gay doesn't have to mean being a princess a sook, overly precious.

I have a few gay friends, but they aren't camp and don't carry on like you.

In fact, unless you knew them well, you wouldn't be able to tell just by speaking to them.

You have always cried gay-mouth, used it as some sort of excuse-all for being overly emotional and irrational to get your way.... FACT, being gay is no big deal these days, you will be treated just like everyone else...your sexuality has nothing to do with it.

Skippys gay, but do you see him acting like a princess?

You might like drag, but this doesn't mean you're queen.
