Re: Greetings
World population is expected to peak in 2050 and after that every nation in the world will be in a free fall of population decline. Japan's problems are often reported in the media but there are other nations whose populations are shrinking - some southern Mediterranean countries as well as some countries in South America have already fallen below a sustainable birthrate. Birth control is quite popular you see in an affluent world ... immigrants are encouraged because the world economy is a Ponzi scheme and like any Ponzi scheme it can only hold up if suckers are still coming in at the bottom ...

Re: Greetings
by IQSSo I was correct and you are only speculating
Perhaps, but how uncanny that all these party's policies should be identical on population policy, can you spot the difference?
Between the SPA and http://www.ozpolitic.com/sustainability ... party.html (unregistered)
It's sister org http://www.population.org.au/
and this new population party...
http://www.populationparty.com/template ... ?secID=151
and another new unregistered party hosted on the same site again http://www.newaustralia.net/enviro_population.html
I guess it's possible that all these 'entities' came up with an identical population policy around the same time, this and are being hosted on the same site ... but lets be brave, and think about this.
I have a theory, though will keep it to myself at this stage as to what I personally think the hub of this intricate network of population-conservative orgs, partys relate back to, (socio-political agenda wise) ...
Have you read each of these orgs, party's population policies?
It's very clever, a very clever marketing strategy, like tentacles reaching out and touching everyone in some way, irrespective of your lean...(unless you are a staunch Liberal).
And I have to head off soon, but would really like you to compare their population policies then get back to me, doesn't even have to be tomorrow, or the day after, take your time, when you get a chance if you're keen.
Keen to prove me wrong this is..

Well, until 2050 populations may well have to be *managed* as competition increases over resources so you will hear more of these stable population supporters but those who desire to increase immigration will have the upper hand in their attempt to prop up national economies through immigration.

I know, we are in deep shit, you probably already know about our having over-estimated our global oil supply?AiA in Atlanta wrote:Well, until 2050 populations may well have to be *managed* as competition increases over resources so you will hear more of these stable population supporters but those who desire to increase immigration will have the upper hand in their attempt to prop up national economies through immigration.
We have no choice but to go nuclear, and pronto.

Didn't the Club of Rome make the same gloomy prediction that we would run of oil decades ago but technology gave us the ability to reach previously unaccessible oil reserves?mellie wrote:I know, we are in deep shit, you probably already know about our having over-estimated our global oil supply?AiA in Atlanta wrote:Well, until 2050 populations may well have to be *managed* as competition increases over resources so you will hear more of these stable population supporters but those who desire to increase immigration will have the upper hand in their attempt to prop up national economies through immigration.

I thought you had a better vocabulary than that Mel (we all know that IQ's is limited) - but then after yesterday's exorcism - why am I not surprised. Who better than IQ to show you the boundaries and he's so pleased that you're here - someone that he can finally relate to. You're both so similar, although I will make this concession - you are actually more obsessed with genitals than he is and that's no mean feat.mellie wrote:I will just add, i'm more than capable of fending off Mantra the old fluffy bunny...(ooh, I typed the norty c -word and it felt soo goood) it's just over on ozpolitic she had the advantage of the mods banning me whenever I challenged hers or Freedivers political views.
Apparently contradicting a green-left vajority is a punishable offence.
If I have this sites moderators assurance that I wont be banned whenever I challenge left political views, then there wont be a problem.
Needles to say, I doubt she will venture over to challenge me here on neutral ground, given she needs her firing squad to settle the score/debate for her.
And always has.
Anyway enjoy the site Mel - and if it gives you pleasure to call me a c..t - you go for it girl. We've seen your worst so anything from here on can only be better.

Re: Greetings
The Greens are looking rather divided these days, and should be about due for another split.

And did you read the story about Greens old coal mole?

Mel - I post here every day. You're the stalker and that's obvious to everyone. Now cut out the crap and try and pretend you're a normal human being. Regardless of IQ's exclamations about this site not having boundaries - it does have them - minimal as they are.

Re: Greetings
Well, from what I could tell, the only difference between his policies and the Greens is the population policy.IQS.RLOW wrote:You have to ask freeloader why he only installs Leftwing moderators on ozpol.
And the dickhead thinks his political party has any chance...
So what Greens supporter doesn't want to hug refugees instead of trees these days, given most their voters are either pro-immigration, or immigrants themselves?
See, this is where the Greens party falls flat on it's face, now their policies are contradicting each other in an increasingly population conservative nation, hence freediver has opted for a more conservative population strategy.
He should call it the sustainable Greens party Australia, now the original Greens are not the flavour of the month, and will be loathed even more by the time a carbon tax gets here, if it gets here, in fact, they are already public enemy number one (the party's started to split over the carbon tax the way they did over the ETS) even though a carbon price hasn't been set.
Not a bad idea, we still need an environmentally conservative party, just one with all it's marbles this and not socialists in disguise.
Honestly, can you see either leading party passing policy that will compromise minority votes?
About 30 per cent of Western Australians were born overseas and 26 per cent in NSW and Victoria, many of which reside in safe labor electorates.
Tricky...
