In Sura 42,Verse 29 (42:29) of the Quran,we are told, "Among His (God's) signs is the creation of theheavens and the earth,and the living creatures that He has scattered throughthem :and He has power to gather them together when He wills."(8) Before proceeding further,a point or two must be noted.The word "sama",translated
"heavens",is also the Arabic for "sky".One may object that the verse refers to creatures in
the sky (which would be birds),not in the heavens

.However,birds are mentioned seperately from creatures of the heavens in 24:41, "Seest thou not that it is God Whose praise all beings in the heavens and on earth do celebrate,and the birds (of the air) with wings outspread?..."(9) In a note to 42;29,Muhammad Asad states,"In the Quran,the expression "the heavens and
earth" invariably denotes the universe in its entireity."(10) The Quran mentions that
inanimate objects also worship God:

"Do they not look at God's creation, (even) among (inanimate) things- how their (very) shadows turn round,from right to left,prostrating themselves to God..."(16:48).( 11 ) Therefore,may not the creatures spoken of in 42:29 in the heavens,be inanimate creatures of God.No.The next verse,16:49 goes, "And to God doth obeisance all that is in the heavens and earth,whether moving (living) creatures or the angels...".(12) The word translated "living creatures" here is the same as that in 42:29- "Dabbatun".Comments Asad,"The word dabbah denotes any sentient,corporeal being capable of spontaneous movement and is contrasted here with the non-corporeal,spiritual beings designated as "angels" ".(13)
In other words,42:29 is referring to precisely the type of lifeforms that science is
searching for,not some metaphysical entities.Yusuf Ali
says,"Dabbatun:beasts,living,crawling creatures of all kind."(14) This is the same word
used in 2:164,

"...in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth...are signs for a people that are wise,"(15) and in 24:45,"And God has created every animal from water:of them are some that creep on their bellies;some that walk on two legs;and some that walk on four. God creates what he wills..."(16) Commenting on 42:29,Allama Shabbir Ahmad Usmani says,"From the verse it appears
that like on the earth,there are some kinds of animals- living creatures- in the heavens
also."(17) On the same verse,Yusuf Ali comments, "Life is not confined to our one little
Planet.It is a very old speculation to imagine some life like human life on the planet
Mars...it is reasonable to suppose that Life in some form or other is scattered through
some of the millions of heavenly bodies scattered through space."(18)

From such remarks,the reader will realize that Muslim scholars are well aware of the fact that 42:29 clearly mentions the existence of aliens.

I believe but have not evidence for:

- there is alien life outside our solar system
- this life evolve completely separate from the life here on earth
- i do not expect it to look like us however there is a good case for 2 eyes and having limbs. Also a good case for symetry as this is a simple way to store a body formation with only half the code.
- that aliens have never flown to visited the earth (the distances are too far for a visit)
- that the likelihood of advanced life that are technologicially advance is less than scientist predict. Look how far we have come in 2 hundred years and how many billions of years it took for form us. I believe they are out there but are too far away from us to hear their signals even if they have arrived. I believe that these societies do not hang around for long however I expect some will have lasted the distance.
- I believe that most advance civisations will eventually evolve to be less organic and more machine. This is the only way they can travel but I am sure they will have lost something that would enable then to survive the long term. Come on the Borg.
- man has alway looked to the heavens for answers. No surprise in finding god or aliens in ou myths.

In short - we have not been visited. We will not be visited. We should get on with colonising the milky way as this is ours and our destiny. We need to evolve quickly using gene manipulation and robotics. We will be the Darleks of the galaxy. Let's get out there and show the universe what a stupid species we really are, develop a few colonies and have a great big f..king war between ourselves. Then the Q will notice us and take pity on us.

Don't panic, it's just more cock and bull from Obamas administration trying to justify how colossal amounts of cash disappearing into his own gaping black hole can be accounted for, why not an over-priced space project produced and directed in Universal Studios? I see no evidence for visitation. I see wishful thinking and a standard excuse on standby of an in depth anal probe by aliens for those in the midwest of the US. You see the good old boys see this as an acceptable explaination for the aftermath of a good fashion rodgering as they live out their "Deliverance" fantasies.

If it is to happen, most likely, it will be human that pass on the evolutionary baton through a genetic continuum, because we are the fittest in evolutionary terms... able to manipulate almost any circumstance the earth and her weather throws at us. In the meantime, as the years are passing by, the earth groans and heaves SN, so that what is here now will be the sea floor or a new mountain range then. Most likely there will be pockets about the world where the ingredients are ripe for fossilization... but as with past eras, those fossils will tell a partial story. Levels of oxygen in the atmosphere will shift its chemical igredients from carbon rich to oxygen rich and so on... depending on the abundance of life. Then again, intelligent life may not have a chance to evolve again SN... it is estimated that the sun, as the yellow gem we know it to be, will snuff itself out in about 5 million years... not enough time for evolutionary changes.

If the earth is lucky enough to see the emergence of a second advanced life form, superior to man, it will still be a symmetrical, bipedal animal with a vertebrae because this is the archetype most suited to manipulating the environment. It would have to be taller, so the earth would need to be more oxygen rich than it is now... either that or producing its offspring through hatching eggs. Reason? The human form cannot produce a larger brain than what we have because a larger head would be impossible to birth... the head being 80% of its adult size at birth, in most cases.

So, what we have, if we are extremely lucky, is super-sized beings more intelligent than humans who have just begun on an academic level to dig the ground for fossils representing human civilizations. It would be not unlike the early days of archaeology of our existence SN, with the difference being that these future, albeit more intelligent entities, would be exploring the fossils of a civilizations more advanced than there's. Therefore, using my imagination, I do not believe that they would think we have been visited by aliens. There would be a definite lack of material for these future beings to make such a brazen statement. Indeed, if a disc did make it through the tumultuous geological events yet to come... it would not come through unscathed and most likely would not be picked as a form of media... and as they advanced and came to learn the purpose of the cd/dvd... it would not yield its secrets in any way that would give them an understanding beyond its purpose as story telling and music... and even then... although music will be known to them, it is no guarantee that myth and story telling will be known to them. We would be as knowable to them as Mesopotamia is knowable to us... or even less so... given they would be a different species.
