I do not shovel raw manure on my garden.

You, sir, are a fucking dickhead that cannot learn, a sheeple in other words.

I *do*NOT*put*raw*manures*on*my*garden* cockhead!

Dickhead.

I know this will rock your preconceived world but it doesn't have to be raw manure to affect the groundwater

If it is composted, and is 10m or so above groundwater level, what I do does not adversely affect groundwater.

I dunno what fucking idiocy you are trying to propose but you are wrong.

DIckhead.

The precipice of my argument is that if 'everyone' (as you propose) had their own little market garden operating in their backyard- it would be more environmentally damaging than a large scale operation that is subject to stringent environmental checks and location constrictions due to the variables in groundwater levels and the fact that most people are like you and 'believe' they are doing the world a favour while destroying it and blaming everyone else that they can.

You poor deluded fuckwit, and I mean that!

Go and google "Feedlot" now there is MAJOR environmental damage!

Not me growing flowers and veges and fruit trees or a million of me. There is rainfall, there is evaporation there is shallow (10m) groundwater and there is the deep bore supplying West End Brewery and Coca Cola Amatil.

In Cuba, thanks to a stupid US trade embargo they have urban agriculture on a BIG scale with no detrimental effect on groundwater.

Most groundwater comes from aquifers, often fed hundreds or more kilometers away from where it is drawn up, think Great Artesian Basin tapped into in SA tho fed in Qld

No, twit, nothing I have said can be twisted to saying I want everyone to be on septic tank.

You are pretty desperate right now, eh? Nothing you have alleged about people having a garden is anywhere near reality. Piss poor debater you are, no facts, no insight, no rhetorical skills.

I will keep growing my flowers, herbs, veges, fruit trees, using mulch and compost and composted manures and improving the environment and sequestering carbon and you are shit jealous about that. Well, just suck shit old son.

Chuckling, as in too much cheap liquor? Thought so.

Cuba has HAD to practice urban agriculture on a big scale, not having a source of oil since the collapse of the USSR. That is the only reason I mentioned it. No groundwater problems have appeared to date.

OK, killed a elliptical patch of the front lawn, planted flowers:
