So far as I can find only one of the officers have been charged with 3rd degree murder and manslaughter, and that man, charged, is now in custody.

There are 3 other officers entailed to this crime. They all need to be in gaol, pending an investigation.

Chauvin has been arrested and charges are pending/likely re the other 3.

The family of George Floyd have called for a second autopsy as the first autopsy didn't support strangulation as the cause of death. It concluded that the combined effects of being restrained, potential intoxicants in Floyd’s system and his underlying health issues, including heart disease, likely contributed to his death.

I don't really see how pinching the carotid equates to strangulation though.

I am very much on the black populations side on this one....the racism and complete bias on behalf of the police in AMERIKA is tangible..

Rodney King goes back to 1991 and not a thing has changed.....we saw the way Floyd behaved with the police very compliant..just stood there didnt struggle let them handcuff him... yes its the way the blacks have to behave or they are automatically dealt with.....yet somehow he ended up with his face in the bitumen... and someone kneeling on his neck for 8 minutes...

dont forget this man may not have been the one trying to pass a forged $20 note....he was in his car not in the shop he was judged and executed imo...by those coppers.... that is not on.. there are no excuses.....
