Pumpkin/watermelon heads really hurt. :rofl Don't they? I had a Caesar.
The size of the baby is not relevant, it's the labour itself that makes all the difference.

The human body is an incredible thing, it's elasticity and ability to spring back to life even after trauma.

I'm sure the duchess will be smart enough to opt for an epidural should her labour be prolonged or particularly uncomfortable.

8-)

Ps- I had 3 natural births, and the way a womans body springs back depends on a number of factors... her body frame, her willingness to do pelvic floor exercises, and her psychological response to body change and image.

I am happy with the way I have sprung back after 3 kids, and so is my partner.

Every year Prince Charles' reputation improves and Diana's declines. I suspect had she lived that would be reversed and Charles would be the most despised royal of them all.

Diana was and still is loved.

I'm sure she would be besotted with her grandchildren if she were alive today.

you have missed my point entirely mel ... Diana's enemies are out to ruin her reputation in death as in life and because she can't defend herself her reputation declines with each passing year. Her death was the best thing that happened to Prince Charles.

Now everybody is waiting to find out what the little Princess will be named. I read that they announced Prince George's name 2 days after his birth, so that is an indication, I guess. I really hope they don't call her Princess Di.

I only caught the last bit - but it sounded as though she was going to be called Topsy for short and then I heard Charlotte being mentioned as a second or third name. It might have been speculation though. Many of the royal names are quite plain - Margaret, Anne, William, Harry, Henry etc.

Newborns do nothing for me. Once they can sit up and take notice, then they become interesting. Sorry.

Shame that the "bonnet" and "shawl" don't match in their "whiteness".

I've read many reports and am surprised that Prince George hasn't cracked a smile, yet. Most kids of his age (22 months) are full of life, constant chattering, and happy little kids ... George seems so serious. Wonder why? Perhaps in his "family pictures" he is laughing and happy but he certainly isn't in the "publicity" shots we see. :b
