Animal Mother, where were you when I some two years ago I sent Freediver that packet of exquisitely rendered smilies along with the file that makes them animate? You didn't even belong to this board then.

Please do not delete any of the ones I personally donated to this forum. They are the artwork of a very talented smilie animator, and are a matching set.

Don't delete either the originals that came with this board, as some members do still like them, or the packet of animated ones I donated. Many members use a combination of both sets.

Simple solution, just add a few new ones you like, and leave our earlier contributions to this board alone. Thank you.

I don't think BO is IQ ...

But last year on Deepy's board when BO was new, she wrote in that gardening and farming thread some experiences she had as a kid growing up in the "country," and she sounded like a female in many other posts.

IQ lives in Perth, and BO lives somewhere toward the eastern part of Aust (not sure where exactly)

Boxy, Aussie and I did not "change" the original smilies that were here, that came with the board. They were left intact, and you yourself keep using them in your posts and so do other members.

My contribution was a matched set of special ones done by a single smilie artist. You might find some of them around on other forums, because the admin/owners of those forums have discovered them around the internet, just like I did. I spent a lot of time collecting them.

They are not bog standards, they are artwork. We asked FD to add the packet of them, without deleting the originals on the board. So you are mistaken.

I could not care less what they are. I do care that real time consuming effort was put in to get them there. Just because someone calling themself 'Uncanny" (genuine or not) comes along and whinges is not enough to destroy that effort. AM can add.....but he has no right to destroy.
