Mankind set to cross the final frontier Date September 10, 2012
Voyager 1, launched 35 years ago with messages of love from the Earthlings,
is on the brink of history with a move into interstellar space.
This image is interesting. It shows the protection of the sun is not a full sphere and interstellar space at it's closest point is where the Voyagers have gone.
