She is a firm believer in alternative remedies, preferring them to conventional medicine."

No medicine or procedure is out of reach for QEII yet she prefers "alternative remedies." Hmmm ...
Obviously they're working for her. She looks fantastic and hasn't had any major ailments that we're aware of. No doubt she would have the best though and medical practitioners would approve the use.

Pharmaceutical corporations control western governments. They dictate the astronomical prices which are usually subsidised by generous schemes. They squash the competition with threats, bribe doctors to spruik their products and generally demand complete control of the market. Much of the negative feedback about natural remedies comes from the drug companies.

Not all alternative remedies are good, but the same could be said for the concoction of chemicals that are prescribed randomly and prolifically. In many cases the side effects are far worse than taking any natural product.

Each to their own though. Some of us have little faith in doctors. They're necessary of course when you require specialised treatment but generally we can do without the toxins they push on us because they earn an overseas holiday or a wad of cash if they write enough prescriptions.

We all know that there are far too many drugs overprescribed, many of them being totally unnecessary to maintain reasonable health and this is a good thing for the drug bosses.

She said he did not have a medical degree but was certified to see clients who were interested in alternative medicine.

He would see clients (like my friend) and refer them to real doctors, with whom he was connected, who would then prescribe some expensive concoction for them to take on a specific regimen.

She said he was prescribing an amino acid regimen to be taken on a precise schedule overnight, that is in the middle of the night, plus pills that were supposed to "optimize" her adrenal system.

That was where she got into some real problems, started having horrible symptoms of the nervous system, adrenaline rushes and sweats and tight muscles and shakes.

She had been perfectly healthy before that. If that quack she was seeing wasn't a homeopath, then what do you think he was? I would be curious to know.
Don't doubt your story but sounds like some kind of alternative doctor who might dabble in homeopathy ... Naturopaths use clinical homeopathic remedies in addition to who knows what else but don't know much about that ... Classical Homeopaths use only traditional homeopathic remedies which have no real side effects.

Seems to me that the scientific/medical model of the body is incomplete if very different healing modalities can work.

Homeopathy is 100% bullshit. Proven to be so in properly conducted double blind trials. Only lunatics and dickheads swallow the homeopathic myth.

Well I think the Queen looks fantastic for her age anyway, seems she has always been in perfect health.

People in good health don't need many remedies anyway, and most of the natural ones are probably harmless. It's just that I don't believe they do anything for a person.

I believe most of it is harmless, and some of it can be very dangerous, and that none of it works at all.

The queen looks fantastic for her age because longitivity is genetic, also, she has enjoyed a wonderful diet (probably organic) this and has had minimal exposure to 'actual work', less wear and tear on the body you see.

If you enjoyed her genetics and standard of living Mantra, you'd live longer too.
We all would.

“avoided actual work” burbles the mad woman (probably while flicking lower lip with a finger and wiping her nose with the back of a sleeve.

I am no admirer of monarchy in general or Betty Battenburgh in particular, but I would hate to have her workload! You stupid kunt! As well as managing the finances of the Palace and Royal Family she has to give assent to Bills and visit all sorts of place, fly around the world and listen to bores droning on and on etc etc.

Betty Battenburgh works fucking hard!

Geez, I hate the fucking Monarchy and now defended a part of it. I just fucking hate stupidity more I guess!

Mellie, fuck off to a psychiatric facility and stop being an insane fucking idiot!

Does the inebriated foot-dragger in a smock require a response to it's dribble?

Look Monk, it would take a pretty wicked/cunning troll to burst my bubble today, (sorry, you just don't cut it) so excuse me while I go back to being tickled pink parked on cloud 9.
