I didn't call you names. I said that you were special. Sheesh! We're all nuts on this forum, especially Arsie, and we shouldn't take anything seriously on this forum, especially Arsie.

You're making a confession IQ - you didn't disagree with Ethnic whereas I was just being polite.

No confession here. Just making sure you know your rightful place

mantra's rightful place appears to be defending a guy who called for the sacking of Andrew Bolt claiming "it was soon" to discuss the boat crash tragedy yet tells a bunch of lies to the media about global warming 5 minutes after the QLD floods. Useless, unethical, anti-environmental piece of faggot shit that is Bob Brown. But then again it is easy for him to do this because he hates humans like all greenies.

“All Greenies” is a bit sweeping. Greens are composed of three factions:

1. The old Socialist Left faction of the ALP, most have moved to the Greens and they can keep them

2. People who don’t want their view spoiled by a windfarm or something like that, so the Greens have opposed many windfarms to get these peoples votes

3. Real environmentalists. The tragedy for the Greens was they should not have gone into Parliament, kept campaigning in WWF etc

The Greens as a Party are the most cynically opportunistic I have ever seen and that includes Bob Brown.

That is true. Unfortunately thanks to dicks like Brown, Hanson-Young and that lunatic Milne, we often forget about true environmentalists who, although they love the environment, they hate the Greens.

It's good to see the mining industry fight back against lies:
The Minerals Council said a 40 per cent tax on Queensland's coal sector would crush the industry just as it began to get back on its feet.

“There would be job losses across the state and projects shelved,” Mr Pearson said. “This is exactly what Queensland does not need now.

“Senator Brown should be condemned for putting his party's political fortunes ahead of the interests of the people of Queensland.”

Two of Queensland's biggest coal miners also lashed Senator Brown.

Macarthur Coal chairman Keith DeLacy told The Australian Online that Senator Brown was “irrelevant to mainstream Australia” and his comments showed contempt for flood victims.

“They are highly insensitive in the context of the clean-up effort that is going on in Queensland,” Mr DeLacy said.

Xstrata communications director James Rickards said Senator Brown had lost touch with reality.

“Xstrata's operations and employees have been directly affected by this and our employees are still helping with the clean-up,” Mr Rickards said.

“It's a disgrace for him to be using this major disaster for political point scoring, now is not the time for political posturing.”
Bob Browb must resign!

There's no need for him to resign. I doubt he'll be around for much longer. Unfortunately over the last couple of years, Brown has had to compromise his values and there are valid reasons for this which he talks about honestly.

He has made the Greens a viable Party and can only hope that his successors have the ability to maintain it. Maybe they won't have the stamina to cope with the media abuse the way he has for so long - maybe they will. He is obviously getting tired of fighting Aussie rednecks in government, media and mining - who could blame him for not being as dynamic as he once was?

Since Gunn has stopped logging old growth forests Bob has nothing left to really fight for.

I unsubscribed from GetUp when they campaigned against the pulp mill but wouldn’t say where our paper should come from. A third world country I suppose, out of sight and out of mind.
