Apparently in this case Perth are trialling the idea because women are unsafe walking through car parks and these
women only car spaces are next to the entrance....one wonders if an insurance company is involved....you know...
we have to make an attempt to create a safe car park otherwise someone might sue us.....its all gone fkn mad...
What happens if a man is mugged miles from the entrance...is it now considered safe for men to walk through car parks
but its not safe for women...ffs.....
Just the usual pandering to women....oh yes...they have to feel empowered dont they....

Apparently they are not enforceable anyway so I don't see the point. The women with stroller spots aren't enforceable either. Only the disability ones are but I noticed in one of my local supermarket car parks that they have removed the disabled parking spots close to the entrance and replaced them with the women/kids ones.

So yeah it's crazy!

To cater to the customers who feel vulnerable walking alone through a carpark. As attacks occur usually at night - when the shopping malls are basically closed, I am unsure why it is necessary during the day.

All you have to do is say you "feel like a woman"

It's all the rage in schools now days.

So any man can "feel like a woman" and park anywhere.

I wonder if it's possible to "feel like a disabled " and use their lovely parking spots too?

How about, right down the back, as far away from any entrance, at the furthest point of the car park.
We put a "MEN ONLY" parking area.

You know, somewhere, where men can park heir cars and not get them scratched by shopping trolleys, bad women drivers, disabled wheelchair bound car scratchers and old farts who scratch cars with their walkers.

Exclusively male, no exceptions.

My bet is that within hours of this being posted, women will converge on the spot demanding that they be allowed to park there.
For equal rights, of course.

Pretty soon, finding a parking spot anywhere will be impossible.
Disabled parking spots are rapidly growing in number
Parents with psalms is another growing market
Parking for elderly is ow appearing everywhere
If the start putting in women only, it might leave 6 or 7 spots for us guys to park.
What a total joke.
So much for equality
For women, it's only equal if they get the best end of the deal.
