Reports have claimed that one note specifically addresses her employers and criticism of hospital staff despite officials previously maintaining they were fully supportive of the nurse.

The employer don't seem so clean as they said. Funny that.

I disagree.

Prank calls have been around since the phone was invented. It is a compklete sense of humour failure by those that think that. It was funny. Most people laughed.

I think people complained because it was Kate. She is liked and no-one wants to see a repeat of what happened to Diane.

The call never have been put through. It is not the fault of the nurse who had no training on how to deal with this scenario. Management of the hospital are accountable. These sorts of things have a role in exposing how inadequate the security procedures are.

What do you disagree with?
That it was unfunny?
What makes calling a hospital half way 'round the world, to find out about a violently sick dehydrated pregnant woman funny? What makes calling and expecting to be hung-up on funny? No one I know thinks it was funny.

People have a right to complain because it was Kate.
If it was someone else (and it wouldn't have been) they'd be right to complain too... leave the sick pregnant woman alone.
Kate is popular.
She is Royalty.
She is celebrity.
She is married to Wills.
She is part of the world's most famous family.
No one has said the hospital isn't partly to blame.
But... if the stupid idiotic call was never made in the first place there would be no consequences, it they never played the call the consequences may have been less dire.

Now where do you disagree?

I disagree based on the following:
- I disagree that the call should not have been made.
It was a call that was funny. Listen to it again with the context of what has occured. Most people I spoke to thought it was funny here in the UK. So clearly we move in different circles. When things went bad, even was sad and the blame game started.

- The consequences were not predicatable. The DJs are not responsible for the events that occured.

- I disagree that the call was not funny.

_ I disagree that the call should have been cleared with those on the call before being aired. It raised a public interest issue that the security of the hospital is not up to scratch.

- I agree that the result is sad and I think the hospital should be held to account for the whole set of events from start to finish.

Prank calls can be quite funny, so sure. I don't have a problem with them, per se. But you need to put a bit more thought into it than just "let's call up someone, and make them look stoopid". The best examples of them are ones where the target, once they realise they've been had, is laughing along with it... and gives permission for it to be used (because most people, if the only consequence is a bit of ribbing from their friends, will love being the centre of attention for a while). When you're making someone look foolish in their chosen profession, and impacting on their future job prospects by publishing their embarrassing moment to the whole world... I think any reasonable person should pause for a while, and ask, is this a good thing to do to them, and am I justified in profiting from their discomfort.

That bit I can buy into when it is just a normal person and not a politician or celeb. :thumb

In this case they did not consider the impact on the hard working hurses involved.

I disagree based on the following:
- I disagree that the call should not have been made.
Why?
Do you think calling a hospital about a sick person is funny?
It was a call that was funny. Listen to it again with the context of what has occured. Most people I spoke to thought it was funny here in the UK. So clearly we move in different circles. When things went bad, even was sad and the blame game started.
Sorry, I disagree I don't find it funny. Obviously many do and many don't.
Just because you think something is funny
1/ Doesn't mean it is.
2/ doesn't mean you should go ahead and do it.

Especially if it involves other people who may be harmed or ridiculed or humiliated by your actions.
- The consequences were not predicatable. The DJs are not responsible for the events that occured.
So if we take the DJs out of the equation this would still have happened? Their actions started a chain of events which ended in tragedy. Do you also disagree with that then?
_ I disagree that the call should have been cleared with those on the call before being aired. It raised a public interest issue that the security of the hospital is not up to scratch.
So people with the power to humiliate you and affect your life globally should be able to do it without your permission? Of course they should have had it cleared and been given permission by the person they duped. If it was really funny they'd have been given permission. No one was thinking about hospital security. It's a bloody hospital not a prison. No one in their right mind would expect a pair of idiots would ring up the hospital pretending to be the Queen and trying to get information about or contact with Kate. We are talking about a sick pregnant woman... how about a little privacy and concern for her well being. After all she is a human being not a bloody barbie doll.
- I agree that the result is sad and I think the hospital should be held to account for the whole set of events from start to finish.
But the hospital did not initiate the chain of events. 2 morons here in Australia did.

I blame that randy fucker William. He started it all. If he had not screwed his bitch Kate, the Indian would be alive. Or maybe it is the fault of the bitch. No headache that night.

You idiots.
