That is a good point, if a man is bored with a woman's body (and he will be) he may still have some residual stuff to discuss, for a day or two at least.

It works both ways and in most cases it's the woman who gets bored first with the same old same old. If a woman was always enthusiastic - most males wouldn't bother looking elsewhere.

Males would look elsewhere even if they were married to Angelina Jolie, it is in our nature to spread our seeds to the winds and see how many attractive gene pools the pollen settles in.

Women nest, once they taste an alpha male, oh, say like Frogen, they hang on and try to defend their find from other females.

Yes men and women can be just friends. Why on earth not ? - after all two men or two women can be friends- sex does not have to be involved.

I have certainly had male friends who do not intend to have sex with me, and whom, similarly I do not intend to have sex with. We had shared interests in drama and in philosophy.

I had 3 or 4 such friends when I was in my late teens and early twenties - one of them was gay. I also had at least one male just friend at uni. Cetainly though as a married woman I have generally been much less inclined to make or enjoy male friendships- except in the breakdown stage of my last marriage, when i was both unhappy and very lonely.

I personally am too jealous to accept my husband having female friends, and I would not mind at all if my husband was similarly jealous. He claims not to be but he certainly asked me to stop speaking to other men on the internet once we had met in reality, and I agreed. Ii do think friendship opens the scope for a sexual relationship, but even if just a friendship it involves sharing yourself with another person other than your partner. I guess i think close male female friendships are wrong if you are married or in a close long term relationship. I know not everyone is like this.
