Just as it is your personal, political and cultural decision to define a new individual life to have been created at conception. I see a long grey period between conception and the fetus showing signs of individuality, and somewhere in there a new "life" arises. Until then, the cells are part of the woman's bodily functions, under her exclusive control.

That's exactly right Boxy - these cells are under a woman's exclusive control. We are the mothers and our bodies have to carry the child under all sorts of circumstances. Females have to make the commitment to look after the child until it reaches maturity - so it's her decision to determine if she's able to do this, regardless of other parties who believe that once a child is conceived - the woman has no rights.

Who decides when another war is created or a country is invaded unnecessarily causing millions of deaths - certainly not the females on this planet. If one scenario can be justified by a male - then the other can be justified by the female.

Conception is not a cultural or sociological determination, no more than evolution is a cultural or sociological determination, it is biological, different biological components from female and male (in the case of humans) come together to create a new individual life.

Now one can argue it may be just to kill that life in it’s early stages, but to argue it is a personal or cultural choice it is even a life opens up all sorts of moral problems I have illustrated before. From infanticide to deciding handicapped people are not really alive, or life worth protecting as the Nazis did.

The tenacious manner that many on this forum deny the fact that conception begins life (when does it begin other than when it begins?) reveals you have some serious problems admitting you are advocating killing, revealing your killing may be unjust as you are unwilling to honestly consider it, unwilling to contemplate it even to yourself.

She did it all for the money, eh? That's so innovative it's worthy of an award.

Some fucking breeders need a swift boot to the arse, seriously... and no, I'm not talking about the forum's breeder population, but the shameless "impregnate me" bints like this, and the speed freak, idiot that I saw on ABC this weekend, on a doco about foster caring. The stupid, drugged up numpty, bleating about how community services "has ruined my life" because they had taken, and continued to take, the 7 kids she'd spawned so far, and been totally incapable of supporting, or even caring for.

Seriously, fuck up your own life, don't expect innocent kids to have to join you in misery!

Octomom is calling 911 often here in the States and of course the recordings are played on the tabloid shows with a complete breakdown of the events and history finishing off with an interview with Octomom herself and then more commentary.

The woman is adept at keeping herself in the news (BTW, I see all this garbage when I am at the gym - one of those garish places with flat screened TVs on every flat surface) or more likely her PR firm is keeping her in the news.

When will abortions become retroactive I wonder? They can hoover all 8 of the last litter along with the previous six out of her womb that way.
