Muelesing executed badly/cruelly will in itself kill and or cause a lot of pain to sheep..its an outdated and barbaric pratctice.

I like meat too but when I drive past an abboitor these days I shudder. The way we treat animals for human consumption is unspeakably cruel..I most likely will end up only eating fish and a litle poultry eventually..my conscience is starting to take over on this one. I will take an iron supplement of need be.
No, some red meat each week is healthy. Find a place that sells meat not intensively farmed/feedlotted etc. These are more abundant these days, try your local Farmers Market!

They sell meat at farmers markets? Is that the 'dress it yourself' kind?

No, meat already cut into the various joints and cuts.

Farmers Markets are no longer hippy places selling lentils and beads and, errrrr grass wink wink nudge nudge :)

Fridges and freezers, on trucks etc, regularly inspected by council health inspectors.

Find your local FM and have a good look!

Go and have a look; I dunno and don't want to know where you live so how do i know prices by you? Go and look!

I get fantastic chocolates, for example, at the Wayville FM besides meat fruit veg bread milk yogurt butter & cheese, seeds/seedlings, great cake etc etc. All stuff grown/made by the stallholders! Fantastic non-hydroponic lettuce!

I wouldn't call that 'food.'

Do the checkout chicks give you good advise on the product and how to cook it? Next!

There are little booklets in the aisle with lots of great cooking tips. Instead of trying to remember the half thought out instructions of a stoned hippy you just take one of the booklets home and read it at your leisure. But I tend to just make things up as I go along in the kitchen. I'm not going to pay for someone to stand around and chat about recipes.
